Manta Ray

Manta ray can reach up to 7m and are found in temperate, subtropical, and tropical waters. They feed on zooplankton by filtering the water using their big mouth. They are harmless to divers and can be seen alone or in groups.

  The biggest threats to their survival are pollution, fishing nets, and traditional Chinese medicine. They are listed as vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and are protected in international waters  by the Convention on Migratory Species of Wild Animals.
